New Magnolia community lets adults 62+ own their homes while a membership covers chef-prepared meals, housekeeping, and maintenance. Their Founders Club offers the next ten buyers exclusive pricing, a three-year rate lock, and bonus incentives.
MAGNOLIA, Texas - WisconsinEagle -- A new 62+ homeownership community is now open in Audubon in Magnolia, offering active adults a different vision for retirement. At Aderra, residents own their homes while a membership includes chef-prepared meals, housekeeping, utilities, lawn care, and other everyday conveniences.
"For many people, the choice has been either stay in a home that's becoming too much to maintain or move into a rental community," said Kip Dornhorst, founder of Aderra. "We created a third option that combines ownership, community, and simplicity."
Aderra's initial phase offers four floor plans ranging from 1,362 to 1,740 square feet, giving residents downsizing from larger homes a right-sized option without sacrificing comfort or style.

"Downsizing is often what stops people before they even start," said Dornhorst. "It's not the move itself that overwhelms people — it's the thought of sorting through a lifetime of belongings on their own. That's why we connect our residents with trusted downsizing resources, from move planning to decluttering and estate sale help, and guide them through every step, so no one has to figure it out alone."
To mark its opening, Aderra is offering a Founders Club to the next ten buyers. Members who reserve their lot and sign a contract secure Founding Member pricing with a three-year membership rate lock and 5% off monthly dues in year one, a seat on the Founders Advisory Circle with input on community events, activities, and dining, complimentary interior design help for their new home, and a Founders Bonus Package worth up to $2,000, with a choice of a refrigerator, washer and dryer, TV entertainment system, or patio furniture.
Aderra is located within Audubon, a nearly 3,000-acre master-planned community in Magnolia developed by Audubon Magnolia Development, LLC. Audubon's plan includes seven distinct neighborhoods connected by a 706-acre park system with 19 parks and seven nature trails, an on-site Magnolia ISD elementary school, and easy access to The Woodlands and Houston. Aderra residents can enjoy Audubon's parks, trails, and community amenities while living near adult children and grandchildren who choose to make their homes in the same community.
