At each stage of production, Colbert utilizes vision inspection technology from prepress to printing and finishing. Customer-supplied art files are compared to prepress and printing outputs, while each die cut carton undergoing folding and gluing receives additional vision inspection. Elements like missing copy, errors, print defects, backside printing, braille, and insert application are all part of the overall quality inspection process.
"EyeC-America is proud to partner with Colbert Packaging as they continue investing in
high-quality packaging production," said EyeC Sales Representative, Ryan Hansen. "Our mission is to deliver the fastest and most reliable vision inspection solutions available today. By prioritizing ease of use, speed, accuracy, and efficiency, our technology streamlines Colbert's workflows and strengthens the experience they deliver to their customers."
Colbert Packaging Marketing Manager, Wanda Speer, adds, "Although Colbert Packaging has utilized vision inspection technology at various stages of production for many years, this recent investment takes advantage of the latest technology in fully integrated, fast, effective, and proactive quality inspection.
