The organic startup skincare brand has teamed up with Klarna to offer additional payment options for e-commerce shoppers while also targeting a higher average shopping cart value.
PLANO, Texas - WisconsinEagle -- Hivessence, a new skincare and supplements startup, has recently added Klarna, the leading global retail bank, payments, and shopping service, to its online e-commerce store. The option will offer consumers the ability to easily choose Klarna instead of using a credit or debit card for the entire payment at check out. Customers who choose to use Klarna won't see any impact on their credit report and the process is easy to use without any fees or interest for the four payments. Hivessence will also be featuring several Black Friday deals for early holiday shoppers.
"We're thrilled to be working with Klarna for this new seamless payment option. We want to offer shoppers with as many choices, in not just our organic, cruelty-free skincare products and supplements, but also for payments, shipping, and promotional campaigns", said David M Burrows, co-founder and president of the brand. "For consumers who utilize the Klarna mobile app, they'll also be able to use it to shop Hivessence products and search for deals", Burrows added.

Hivessence features 42 different items including the latest formulations and trends in health and beauty. The high-quality serums, creams, moisturizers, masks, soaps, and cleansers all feature organic ingredients that are free of animal testing, gluten, and paraben. Honeybee products are also included such as health-enhancing honey, royal jelly, bee pollen, and beeswax.
For each product sale, a portion goes to Arkearth.org, which works to save honeybees and other critical pollinators in North America. "We believe the Klarna deferred payment will help us also increase sales therefore, enabling us to funnel more donations to saving bees, butterflies, hummingbirds and other pollinators", said Margaret Burrows, co-founder and owner.
