GREEN BAY, Wis., Sept. 3, 2024 ~ KI, a leading furniture company, has announced its highly anticipated third annual Classroom Furniture Giveaway. This exciting opportunity offers K-12 teachers the chance to transform their learning environments with up to $40,000 worth of KI furniture of their choosing. The giveaway is open to all types of learning spaces, including classrooms, libraries, makerspaces, esports labs, art or music rooms, and more.
According to Bryan Ballegeer, vice president of education markets at KI, the company is thrilled to continue this initiative and empower educators and students by giving them a voice in the design of their learning spaces. Ballegeer explains that the goal is to celebrate the crucial role that teachers play in creating environments where creativity and collaboration can thrive.

Submissions for the giveaway will open on October 1 and close on October 25. To be eligible, educators must be employed at a U.S. educational institution and work with grades pre-K through 12. They must also be at least 21 years old. The winners will be announced on November 20.
To participate in the giveaway, educators will use KI's Classroom Planner tool to design their ideal learning space. Submissions should include a detailed rendering of the proposed space and a brief explanation of how the design reflects their teaching philosophy and meets the needs of their students.
In addition to four grand prizes, eight runners-up will each receive a set of 30 Ruckus whiteboards. All installations are expected to be completed between December 2024 and February 2025.
