BOSTON - WisconsinEagle -- Today, 20-year-old award-winning, singer/songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, Veronica Lewis, has released her latest single, "Against The World," a song that explores a profound love and connection, where emotions transcend traditional boundaries. The mesmerizing soundscape, created entirely by Veronica, blends dreamy synth, acoustic guitar, and keys with a deep rhythm that resonates right in the chest. The track is featured on her upcoming album, Too Late For Tears, for an August 16 release via Moonwink Records/Symphonic.
"This is a love song about a person you can't be with in the physical world," Veronica explains. "It's about connecting with someone you love - feeling them and their love surround you, even if you can't be together."

In "Against The World," Veronica paints a picture of young love cut short, but enduring through nature's rhythms, among the trees, moss, and lakes. Her storytelling invites us to reflect on how deeply our emotions can intertwine with the environment around us, offering a new take on the complexities of love and intimacy. She beautifully captures the essence of connecting with someone you love, feeling their presence everywhere, even if you can never be together. Veronica tells us, "The saddest love stories are often the ones that never had a chance", and this song poignantly explores that theme.
The video, directed and edited by Lewis, visually complements this unique love story. Veronica's performance in the natural surroundings becomes a dance of emotion and energy, showcasing the deep bond between humans and nature. Through these stunning visuals, she invites us to explore the healing energy of the natural world, redefining what it means to love and be loved. "It's about feeling their spirit even when you can't be with them again." Veronica concludes.
