Efforts to Set the Timeline Straight in "Recoveries" Threaten to Complicate Historical Outcomes

GREEN BAY, Wis. - WisconsinEagle -- Author Mark S. Roberts is back with the third installment of his The Clio Project series with a thrilling combination of political power grabs and time travel conundrums in Recoveries: A Clio Project Time Travel Story.

Roberts reintroduces readers to Air Force Technical Sergeant Scott Rees and his unit as they attempt to right the missteps of previous time leaps, discovering along the way that history may have changed in the process. Or has it?

In Recoveries, Rees and his team have progressed from the unwitting participants they were in the first book of the series (The Clio Project) to active contributors in a top-secret time travel experiment. Now, the potential for concurrent existence of multiple timelines creates the possibility for outcomes they never envisioned.

First, they must survive a return visit to the Civil War, where Confederate Rebels have taken a keen interest in modern equipment that must not remain in the past for fear of turning the tide. Losing men in the process is a necessary risk, but one Rees and his team must take to protect the future and present-day reality as they know it.
