PARRY SOUND, Ontario - WisconsinEagle -- Canada's Aerospace, Defence, Security and Space sectors are expanding rapidly, yet employers consistently face a common challenge: They often meet promising talent only at graduation or during recruitment, long after many of the experiences that demonstrate capability have occurred.
InspireTech Global Inc. today announced the inaugural Canadian Aerospace Defence Talent Expo (CADTE), taking place on November 10, 2026 in Brampton, Ontario.

More than an annual recruitment event, CADTE is the public launch of TalentThread—a national initiative designed to help employers follow talent as it develops.
Unlike a traditional career fair, TalentThread enables students to build an evidence-based record of experiences, projects, competitions, work-integrated learning, research, certifications and other verified accomplishments over time. Rather than relying solely on resumes, employers gain earlier visibility into emerging capability and can begin building relationships with future talent before graduation.

CADTE will bring together leading employers, post-secondary institutions and approximately 500 post-secondary students and recent graduates pursuing careers in engineering, software, cybersecurity, advanced manufacturing and related disciplines.
"Canada does not lack talented students—it lacks a consistent way for employers to discover how that talent develops," said Kyle Boyko, CEO of InspireTech.
"CADTE and TalentThread were created to close that visibility gap while strengthening Canada's long-term workforce pipeline.
Our goal is simple: follow talent as it develops."
The initiative is intended to grow into a national workforce ecosystem through recurring CADTE events, employer challenges, institutional partnerships and a year-round digital platform that strengthens connections between education and industry.
Organizations interested in participating as employers, sponsors or academic partners can learn more at www.cadte.ca.
