GREEN BAY, Wis. - WisconsinEagle -- Wisconsin Drug Testing Consortium conducts 50-state background searches
The driver carousel typical of the transportation industry is in high gear this year, meaning DOT employee background checks as part of the hiring process can consume a significant amount of time. Wisconsin Drug Testing Consortium (WDTC) offers employee background checks as a key service for employers looking to streamline administrative operations.
Employers nationwide have reduced workforces in record numbers due to the economic slowdown associated with the pandemic. Some of the 10 million unemployed people are filling openings behind the wheel and will require an employee background check.
Employee background checks as required by the DOT ensure your new hires have acceptable safety records and are qualified commercial drivers. These checks not only keep your business in compliance with government regulations, it also helps minimize driver-related accidents.

Meeting federal CDL drug testing requirements is another major administrative requirement for employers as well as owner-operators. WDTC offers a competitive pricing structure and simplified monthly invoicing that includes all employee background checks for the period.
