GREEN BAY, Wis. - WisconsinEagle -- Robinson Metal makes 'The Fabricator' magazine list for the 10th straight time
Metal fab manufacturing excellence is the foundation of Robinson Metal, Inc.'s value proposition for customers across North America, as evidenced by the company's 10th consecutive appearance in The Fabricator magazine's Fab 40 list of the largest American manufacturers ranked by self-reported revenue.
Robinson Metal holds the 8th position on the 2019 list based on 2018 self-reported revenue of $85.2 million. Robinson Metal is the only Northeast Wisconsin-based company to make the Fab 40 list and one of only five Wisconsin companies overall. The Fabricator magazine publishes news, technical articles and case histories that enable metal fab manufacturing companies to spotlight their products and services.
Robinson Fab & Machine, a division of Robinson Metal, Inc., performs every aspect of the metal fab manufacturing process in Robinson's De Pere, Wisconsin, facility. Paper processing equipment fabrication makes up a significant portion of its job orders thanks in part to Northeast Wisconsin's status as a major hub in the paper industry.

"Our ability to perform most tasks in-house ensures a high level of quality control throughout the manufacturing process," notes Jamie Tilkens, Robinson Fab & Machine division manager. "Our customers also appreciate having a single point of contact as their project proceeds through production cycle."
Metal fab manufacturing covers a range of materials and project types
The Robinson Fab & Machine workforce has experience working with a variety of materials to meet virtually every customer requirement. This includes multiple grades of carbon steel, duplex stainless steel and several other grades of stainless steel.
In addition to traditional metal fab manufacturing capabilities, Robinson Fab & Machine provides complete assembly services that save time and resources at the customer's location.
"Our ability to complete the assembly phase here allows us to perform testing prior to shipment," Tilkens explains. "This can save valuable time if adjustments are needed in the metal fab manufacturing prior to delivering to our customer."
