~ Madison, WI- Get ready to hit the streets and enjoy a day of fun and fitness at Ride the Drive 2025! This highly anticipated event, now in its 16th year, will take place on Sunday, August 10 and will feature three park hubs connected by 2.38 miles of closed streets. Participants can choose to stroll, roll, pedal or glide their way through the route which includes portions of John Nolen Drive and Williamson Street. Since its inception in 2009, Ride the Drive has been a celebration of Madison's dedication to promoting a healthy and active lifestyle. The event highlights the environmental and economic benefits of alternative modes of transportation while also emphasizing the importance of social integration.
One of the main goals of Ride the Drive is to encourage healthy living for both adults and children by providing a safe space free from motor vehicles.
