Swimming Pool Services Wins Gold "Remodeler of the Year" Award from Milwaukee/NARI

WAUKESHA, Wis. - WisconsinEagle -- Swimming Pool Services Inc., southeast Wisconsin's leader in creating amazing pool environments and outdoor living spaces, has won a Gold 2019 Remodeler of the Year Award from the Milwaukee chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI).

The award, in the "Residential Landscape Design/Outdoor Living $100,001 to $250,000" category, recognizes a Waukesha project that transformed a home's backyard into a welcoming oasis, solving ongoing drainage problems in the process.

"This Gold Remodeler of the Year Award is a direct reflection of our amazing pool and spa professionals, who focus on creating unique, enjoyable experiences for our customers," said David Thompson, Chief Executive Officer of Swimming Pool Services. The Waukesha home had an above-ground swimming pool. The property sustained a longstanding drainage issue from a backyard hill that directed water toward the house. A stone patio was rough, uneven and unpleasant to walk on.

Swimming Pool Services transformed the backyard into a vibrant space full of natural textures and inviting features. A large inground pool and a hot tub beckon with shimmering waters. Natural Lannon grey outcropping stones form a raised wall that pushes surface water along the rear property line, away from the patio and home. A pool slide was built into the stone wall for continuous enjoyment.

The old patio was replaced with a flagstone overlay to match the raised stone walls. A bar island and fireplace offer hard-to-resist hospitality. A deck drain was built between them to manage surface water drainage.

Swimming Pool Services has earned more than 100 regional, national and international honors for project design and construction, and outstanding customer service. The lengthy list includes Gold awards in the American Association of Pool & Spa Professionals Midwest Chapter every year since 2000. The company has won numerous honors from Milwaukee/NARI, including two Silver 2018 Remodeler of the Year awards.
