Fact-checked public-interest program will help families prepare for the medical, legal, financial and caregiving realities of aging

MILWAUKEE - WisconsinEagle -- SYNERKARE today announced the development of Aging in America, a public-interest television series created to inform, educate and prepare older adults, caregivers and families before an unexpected condition becomes a crisis.

Presented by SYNERKARE, the series will be available on Exposure Plus TV with financial support from PIQSTAR INC. PBC. It will feature credentialed experts, caregivers, advocates, researchers and older adults in a trusted television environment centered on verified information, safety and dignity.

The need is urgent. The U.S. Census Bureau reported that 61.2 million Americans were age 65 or older in 2024. The Administration for Community Living estimates that a person turning 65 has almost a 70 percent chance of needing long-term care services. The FBI also reported approximately $7.7 billion in internet-crime losses among Americans over 60 during 2025.

Created and produced by T. Uganda "Tam" Lawrence, the series was inspired by her experience caring for her mother through dementia.

"Love does not automatically come with a roadmap," Lawrence said. "Families are often expected to understand complicated systems while they are exhausted, grieving or already experiencing an emergency. Aging in America will help families receive essential information before distress takes away their time to prepare."

Episodes will combine personal stories, verified data, field reporting, expert conversations and practical family-navigation guidance. Topics will include dementia, caregiving, elder fraud, estate planning, long-term care, senior housing, consumer protection and aging safely at home.

SYNERKARE welcomes projected alignment with brands, donors, foundations, healthcare organizations, senior-care providers, financial institutions and community organizations committed to protecting older adults and strengthening family preparedness.
