GREEN BAY, Wis. - WisconsinEagle -- Green Bay steel fabrication shop is investing in additional machinery

Titletown Manufacturing will be boosting its internal steel fabrication capabilities with continuing investments in additional machinery. A metal brake for precise bending and a plasma waterjet laser for enhanced cutting are the latest additions planned for our Green Bay, Wisconsin, facility.

These investments are indicative of our consistent efforts to upgrade our asset base while providing hands-on quality control and exceptional steel fabrication services. The addition of these tools will bring us closer to the one-stop shop our customers value in a steel fabrication service provider.

Bending and laser cutting will complement the welding and machining of final weldments that our team already performs. We are able to smooth out imperfections from final weldments for customers ranging from paper converters to food-grade stainless steel suppliers.

Steel fabrication relies on CNC boring bar, milling machines

The Titletown Manufacturing shop floor utilizes a variety of high-end steel fabrication machinery to produce parts as long as 200 inches in length. Our sweet spot for tight-tolerance, highly precision pieces is up to 100 inches in length.

Our CNC boring bar is a versatile piece of steel fabrication equipment that we use for both low-production as well as high-production parts runs. Its computer programming enables our team to deliver the tight tolerances on larger projects that typically are available only in smaller jobs.

The key to this tool's performance is the ability to remove the guarding. This is what enables our team to work on pieces larger than is possible with enclosed vertical milling machines and horizontal milling machines. We can deliver multi-axis machining down to tolerances of .0001 of an inch.
