~ As crowds gather at Warner Park for the annual Festival Foods post-game firework show, residents in the surrounding area should prepare for increased traffic on Friday evening, July 3. The show, which will begin shortly after the conclusion of the Madison Mallards game at approximately 9:30pm, is expected to run for 25 minutes. With this in mind, commuters are advised to plan for extra travel time when passing through the area.

To ensure a safe and efficient exit for all attendees, Madison Police officers will be present on-site to direct traffic. This includes those traveling by foot, bike, or car. In addition, some Madison Metro routes will be impacted by the event. For more information on detours and schedule changes, residents can visit Metro's website.
For those planning to attend the event, resources are available on how to get to Mallards Stadium via biking, taking transit, or driving. As always, safety is a top priority and attendees are reminded to follow all traffic laws and guidelines while traveling to and from Warner Park.
