RALEIGH, N.C. - WisconsinEagle -- Arcuri Group today announced a long‑term agreement with WakeMed Health & Hospitals, a leading North Carolina healthcare system employing more than 10,000 staff members across its network of hospitals, clinics, and care facilities. Under this partnership, Arcuri Group will provide comprehensive Situational Awareness and De‑escalation training to all WakeMed employees.
Training will be delivered in‑person, on‑demand, and live‑virtual, ensuring consistent, scalable access across the entire organization.
This initiative plays a central role in WakeMed's SafeOnSite Workplace Violence Prevention Program. SafeOnSite emphasizes four pillars — Prevention, Preparedness, Response, and Recovery — and reinforces that "workplace violence prevention is everyone's responsibility" and that staff must know "what to watch for and what to do 'in the moment' when emotions run high" . The program also highlights the importance of situational awareness, defined as "being attuned to your surroundings and recognizing when something isn't right".
