BELOIT, Wis. ~ Fairbanks Morse Defense (FMD), a portfolio company of Arcline Investment Management, has announced the expansion of its product and service capabilities through agreements with Massa Products Corporation and Industrias Ferri S.A.
The exclusive North American maritime defense agreement with Massa will allow FMD to provide sonar transducer systems, cables, and connectors to its customers. Dawn F. Massa Stancavish, President/CEO & CINO of Massa Products Corporation said "We feel that competency is our bond at a time when our Navy needs to count on the industry to deliver high-quality reliable products and services in real-time."
The sales and service agreement with Industrias Ferri S.A., a leading manufacturer of deck equipment and auxiliary machinery for over five decades, will expand the breadth of product and service offerings of Fairbanks Morse Defense by providing OEM equipment, parts, overhauls, and other services for accommodation ladders, gangways, and other deck machinery. Patricio Fernández, CEO of Industrias Ferri S.A., said "We have developed our technical expertise for over 50 years, and we look forward to bringing this knowledge and skill to our new collaboration with Fairbanks Morse Defense"

In addition to providing support for turnkey service solutions for Fairbanks Morse Defense customers, Massa and Ferri will have access to FMD's global network of highly trained field service technicians as well as the defense contractor's strategically located service centers. Jay McFadyen, Chief Commercial Officer and President of FMD Services said "Massa and Ferri are highly respected leaders in their fields, and our collaborations with them increase our ability to respond quickly to our customer's needs with the right parts, services, and maintenance so they are always mission ready."
Fairbanks Morse Defense currently powers more than 80% of the Navy's ships with medium-speed applications. The defense contractor has rapidly expanded its array of best-in-class marine technologies through expansion as well as acquisitions such as Ward Leonard, Hunt Valve, Maxim Watermakers Federal Equipment Company Research Tool & Die Welin Lambie.
