SHEBOYGAN, Wis. - WisconsinEagle -- Blue Harbor Resort launches live music Fridays in August and hopes to partner with local organizations to help raise needed funds in the community.
Mark Hendee will perform a piano bar routine in On the Rocks Bar & Grill at Blue Harbor Resort the remaining Fridays in August (8/16, 8/23, and 8/30) from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Mark was born and raised in Wisconsin, but had the opportunity to work in professional theatre, touring with a dinner dance band, and performing for two years aboard cruise ships in the Caribbean. Now retired to Door County, Mark performs his piano bar routine on the weekends.
Seven Ages Theatricals, Sheboygan's indie theatre company, will host the event on Friday, August 30th to help raise funds for the world premiere production of Fool, Christopher Moore's New York Times best-selling comic novel in a new adaptation by the Reduced Shakespeare Company's Austin Tichenor, in June 2025. Developing a new work requires much time, talent, and funding, so Seven Ages Theatricals has embarked on a year-long endeavor to raise about $30,000 to help fund designers, venue rental, talent, marketing, public relations, and so much more.
