Copley has been with the City since December of 2022 and has played a crucial role in developing processes and procedures for the office. She also hired two employees and provided analytical and research support while advocating on behalf of the PCOB. Pearson acknowledged Copley's contributions to the office and wished her well in her future endeavors.

In light of Copley's resignation, the PCOB will be searching for an Interim Monitor while they conduct a thorough search for a permanent replacement. Interested candidates for this interim role will not be eligible to apply for the permanent position.
