Madison: Downtown Alders Host Meet and Greet to Provide a Welcoming and Relaxed Environment for Constituents to Engage with Alders

Madison, WI ~ Residents of Madison's downtown districts have the opportunity to meet and connect with their local alders at an upcoming event. The Meet and Greet will take place in the Madison Room on the third floor of the Central Madison Public Library, located at 201 West Mifflin Street.

The Downtown Alders, which include Alder Juliana Bennett of District 2, Alder Michael Verveer of District 4, Alder Marsha Rummel of District 6, and Alder MGR Govindarajan of District 8, are looking forward to connecting with constituents one on one. "I'm excited to be able to meet and have conversations with downtown residents about the issues that matter to them! It'll be an engaging opportunity to work together to improve downtown, and the city," says Alder MGR Govindarajan.

At the event, attendees will have the chance to weigh in on the Brayton Lot Redevelopment by taking a brief survey. Additionally, they can discuss issues such as Capital Budget, Metro Network Redesign and BRT Changes, Affordable Housing and Development, and Brayton Lot Redevelopment with their alders.
