~ As the winter season approaches, many residents of Madison may be wondering how to navigate the city's new Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system or how to safely ride their bikes during the colder months. To address these concerns, the Greater Madison Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is hosting a lunch-n-learn webinar tomorrow, November 13th from noon to 1 p.m.
The webinar, titled "Ride & Roll with Ease this Winter: Tips for Planning Trips by Bus and Bike," will feature a panel of experienced bus and bike riders who will share valuable tips and resources for navigating Madison's transportation options. The event is open to anyone interested in learning more about using buses or bikes as a means of transportation.
Some of the topics that will be covered during the webinar include key tools for planning bus and bike trips, features of the new BRT stations and buses, and practical tips for riding during the winter. The panelists will also discuss how to combine biking and riding the bus for a more efficient commute.
