MADISON, Wis. ~ Madison Police Department Shares Tips to Prevent Vehicle Theft
In a recent press release, the Madison Police Department has shared important tips for preventing vehicle theft. With 111 reported incidents of theft from autos in Madison from October 1 to December 31, 2025, the department is urging residents to take necessary precautions to protect their property.
According to the press release, one of the most effective ways to prevent vehicle theft is by simply locking your car doors and closing all windows.
