~ As the City of Madison prepares for its upcoming election, the Clerk's Office is inviting the public to observe their public test of election equipment on Monday, June 9. This test is a crucial step in ensuring that votes will be accurately tallied on Election Day.

Beginning at 9:00 a.m. at 2713 E. Washington Ave., the public test will allow citizens to witness the thorough testing of DS200 tabulators. The participation of the public in this process adds to the transparency and integrity of the election process.

During the test, Clerk's Office personnel will secure each machine with tamper-evident seals that contain unique serial numbers. These numbers will be documented on each polling location's Inspectors' Statement and verified by poll workers on Election Day as they open the polls.
