~ As the annual Art Fair on the Square and Art Fair off the Square events approach, residents and visitors of Madison can expect some road closures in the downtown area. According to a press release from event organizers, multiple streets will be closed to accommodate the festivities.
Starting on Friday, July 11th at 3:00pm, the Capitol Square and surrounding 100 blocks will be closed for the Art Fair on the Square event. These roads are expected to reopen on Sunday, July 13th at 9:30pm.
In addition, Martin Luther King Jr Blvd will also be closed between Doty Street and Wilson Street for the Art Fair off the Square event. This closure will begin at 6:00pm on Friday, July 11th and end at 9:00pm on Sunday, July 13th.

Residents who rely on Madison Metro buses should also take note of potential detours due to these road closures. More information can be found on Metro's website.
