WAUKESHA, Wis. - WisconsinEagle -- Revize, the Website Design Experts, is proud to announce the successful relaunch of the freshly redesigned official website for the City of Waukesha, WI: www.waukesha-wi.gov/
With a modern look, intuitive navigation, and resident-focused features, the revamped platform makes information and services more accessible than ever. The launch marks a new chapter in Revize's five-year partnership with the city, reinforcing both teams' commitment to accessibility, transparency, and digital innovation.
Joseph Nagrant, Vice President of Business Development and Sales, says, "Governments can no longer rely solely on traditional CMS websites—today's digital public services demand secure, scalable, and adaptive platforms that go far beyond static content delivery. Revize has delivered this for the residents of the City of Waukesha."
Andrew Noffke, UI/UX Designer for Waukesha, shared that the unique customization aspect of Revize sets the agency apart. "Many platforms that we demoed when we initially were looking for a new website vendor were so cookie cutter that you could tell the vendor from the homepage. While there are templates that structure a Revize site, the customization allowed and incorporated in the designs makes each site stand out."

Key Features of the New Website:
- Mobile-friendly design – responsive design seamlessly adapts to any device size
- 'One-stop-shop' homepage experience – features Latest News module, City Services module, and organization based on main actions on site
- Prominent "Translate" button – easily translate web content to over 80 languages with a single click
- Homepage "hero" video – engages site visitors, increases SEO, provides a portal to life in Waukesha
- Calendar app – highlights public meetings and events, boosting community engagement
From the moment users enter the new homepage, they're met with a design that highlights city branding, makes information easy to find, and encourages citizen interaction. "This iteration of our site helps us better embrace our city branding by incorporating the logos nested in our city's fox logo across the homepage and better utilizing our city colors across the site," Noffke said. "Additionally, we were able to make sure that residents get all the information they need from the homepage while also maintaining a clean and modern look."

The website was designed with accessibility and convenience in mind, helping residents interact with their city as needed. Noffke expressed, "Our goal for our website has been to create a "virtual city hall" as much as we can. We know it's tricky to get in touch with an actual person be it via phone or in-person with how busy life gets, so if we can get residents the answers they need regardless of where they are, what time it is, or whatever they need, we can better serve our community."
