Applications Now Open for "WIBO Decide" and "WIBO Grow" Programs
NEW YORK - WisconsinEagle -- Workshop in Business Opportunities (WIBO), a cornerstone of New York City's entrepreneurial ecosystem for nearly six decades, is inviting aspiring and established entrepreneurs to enroll in its Fall 2025 programs, WIBO Decide: A Business of Your Own and WIBO Grow: How to Build a Growing Profitable Business.
For over 55 years, WIBO has assisted more than 18,000 entrepreneurs, particularly from underserved communities, in starting, operating, and growing profitable businesses. This fall, WIBO continues its mission by offering two pathways for participants:
WIBO Decide: A free, 90-minute virtual workshop on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 (6:30–8:00 PM EST) to help individuals determine if entrepreneurship is the right path for them.

WIBO Grow: A 16-week hands-on in-person program starting Thursday, October 23, 2025, and running through February 2026 | 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM (EST). This program is designed to help business owners refine their strategies and scale their business.
"WIBO has been transforming lives and communities through entrepreneurship since 1966," said Ted Geier, Interim Executive Director. "These programs not only equip participants with practical business tools, but also connect them to a powerful network of mentors, alumni, and local partners who believe in economic empowerment."
Entrepreneurs, aspiring founders, and those considering business ownership are encouraged to apply by Tuesday, October 21, 2025. Companies and community partners interested in supporting WIBO's mission can also get involved through sponsorships, mentorship, or alumni collaborations.
