Wisconsin Eagle/10039162

GREEN BAY, Wis. - WisconsinEagle -- "Young adult to adult fantasy and horror readers will find Bloodborne Awakened an intense, gripping story powered not just by a typical story of good and evil, personal destiny, or the presence of other creatures who are hidden from human society, but a refreshingly vivid young personality who observes and captures the challenges in her normal life." Says, D. Donovan, Senior Reviewer, Midwest Book Reviews. "Jessie's voice, paired with Tracey Laviolette's exquisitely metaphorical, atmospheric descriptions, drive this story from its very first passages."

"We (our team), believes that Bloodborne Awakened will appeal to fans who enjoy YA Urban Fantasy with action and a twist of humor. This is the first book, which sets the pace for the rest of the book series." Says Laviolette.  "I wanted to give readers something different to sink their teeth into with demon hunters and dragon lords."

Bloodborne Awakened will appeal to the fans of Cassandra Clare and her wonderful Mortal Instrument Series, as well as those Twilight Fans of Stephanie Myers. The story includes intense action scene descriptions, demon hunting and dragon shifters. The developing romance will be a treat for those who enjoy slow-burning romances.

"Laviolette spins a fresh, fun plot that is equal parts action and emotion," says Swati Hegde, Beta Reader and Editor. "As an experienced beta readers and copy editor, I've seen my fair share of fantasy novels. 'Bloodborne Awakened' is one of the more gripping novels out there, and the reading experience was thoroughly engaging. The characters were hilarious and realistic, the story high-stakes, and the love triangle quite complicated-just the way I like it. I have high expectations for the sequel and remaining books in the series-let's see how Laviolette takes the story forward!"

The closing remarks by D. Donovan, Senior Reviewer, Midwest Book Reviews, "Young adult fantasy readers will welcome Bloodborne Awakened's unique combination of coming-of-age and quest story. Its wound into engrossing descriptions and atmospheric settings designed to keep readers thoroughly engrossed to the satisfying end, which sets the stage for another story without the frustration of the usual cliff-hanger approach to series titles. More please!"
