Green Bay's Mark Daniels Weaves Narrative with Interviews in "A Life at Lambeau"
GREEN BAY, Wis. - WisconsinEagle -- Very few people are fortunate enough to live out their dreams in the form of a career. Mark Daniels grew up in the shadow of Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin, home of the Green Bay Packers, and became infatuated with the challenge of doing sports announcing from a young age. The respected radio and television sportscaster recounts the highlights of his career in a new book, A Life at Lambeau: My Career Covering the Green Bay Packers. (M&B Global Solutions Inc.)
Packed with more than fifty color photos and interviews with some of the franchise's biggest names, A Life at Lambeau is part personal memoir and part Packers history. The book takes readers on a journey through the thrills and challenges that are part of life as a media member, including the relationships that can develop as a bonus.
"Mark has covered the Packers longer than almost any other reporter in the area," states Kevin Harlan, a fellow Green Bay native and four-time National Sportscaster of the Year. "There is no better person more qualified to tell this story."

"Mark is a consummate professional, exceptional at what he accomplished as a member of the media," notes Ron Wolf, general manager of the Packers from 1991-2001. "Deep down, it always prevailed that he is a true fan of his favorite team, the Green Bay Packers."
"No one knows the Packers and their incredible history better than Mark," adds Mark Murphy, President Emeritus of the Packers. "I enjoyed working with him during my time with the Packers. This is a must read for all Packers fans."
Cliff Christl, the official historian for the Packers and a former newspaper sportswriter, credits Daniels' attention to accuracy as a differentiating factor in the book's quality.
"When looking for a good read about the Green Bay Packers, the first thing to consider is the credibility of the author. Mark Daniels passes that sniff test," Christl says. "Far too many books have been written about the team by potboilers who didn't know the Packers history, and as a result, made a muddled mess of it. Mark grew up in the shadows of Lambeau Field and then covered the Packers for forty-six years as a local radio reporter. Not only did that allow him to gain behind-the-scenes insights on the team, but he worked hard at his job, developed credible sources, and responsibly shared what information he gathered with his listeners."
A Life at Lambeau is available in paperback and digital formats on Amazon at https://amzn.to/4baXCkj. It also is available for retail buyers on the IngramSpark platform.
