~ As the weather warms up in Madison, the city's Parks Department is opening its three splash parks and twelve maintained beaches for the season on Saturday, May 27. The splash parks are free to use and open daily through Labor Day, with restroom facilities nearby. To conserve water, features may be activated by an onsite push button during the scheduled hours of 10am to 8pm. The twelve beaches will also be open with approved water quality, and lifeguard service will be available at two beaches this weekend from 11am to 7pm.

Goodman Pool will open for the season on Friday, June 9th, weather permitting. The Madison Parks Foundation and Irwin A. and Robert D. Goodman Foundation are offering scholarships for general admission and Waves Swim & Dive Team at Goodman Pool to ensure that everyone can enjoy it regardless of financial circumstances.
