~ Starting Tuesday, August 13, Payne and Dolan will begin a major road reconstruction project on Maple Grove Road. The project will cover the stretch of road from McKee Road to Putnam Road and is expected to last for several weeks. According to the contractors, they will be working on the section of the road between Chester Drive and McKee Road during the initial phase of the project. To minimize inconvenience for drivers, one lane of travel in each direction will be maintained throughout the duration of the project.

The timeline for this project has been outlined by Payne and Dolan as follows: during the week of August 13, the contractor will pre-mill and pulverize the existing asphalt surface in preparation for rough grading. The following week, starting on August 19, any poor road base course material will be replaced. From August 26 onwards, final grading of the street will take place in preparation for asphalt binder and final pavement. Finally, during the week of September 2, final paving will commence.
