~ As the E Wilson Street and E Doty Street Reconstruction Project continues, residents and commuters in Madison can expect some changes to their daily routes. R.G Huston's paving contractor will be conducting final surface paving operations on Friday, June 13th starting at 7:00 am. This will result in a full closure of Wilson Street from S. Franklin Street to S. Pinckney Street. However, local access will still be maintained through S. Hancock Street.
The following day, Saturday, June 14th, R.G Huston's pavement marking contractor will begin their work on E. Wilson Street while the full closure remains in effect. The road is expected to reopen by the end of the day on Saturday.
For local residents, any access to 151 E. Wilson Street via the back alley should use E. Main Street to S. Hancock Street as an alternate route.
