~ On Wednesday, September 27, Metro Transit and the City of Madison Transportation Commission will host a virtual public hearing to discuss potential service changes that could take effect in December. The proposed adjustments include running time adjustments to balance trip times between points for Routes A, B, and C; additional buses added to Routes B and C; the elimination of the A-Sheboygan shuttle due to the proposed Route R connection; adjustments to Routes J and O for improved weekend efficiency; a connection from Route C to UW Hospital after 7 pm on weekdays and all-day on weekends via Route R; new short-turn trips added to McKee and Maple Grove via Route 75; schedule adjustments to better serve UW Hospital shift changes; adjusted arrivals/departures at South Transfer Point for better connections; and potential peak service route additions pending fall ridership review.
