~ Starting Sunday, August 17, Metro will be making several changes to its routes, schedules, and stops in order to better serve the community. These adjustments include the addition of all-day service to Verona, WI and the creation of a new Route D2 service.
The partnership between Metro and the City of Verona will bring about this expansion, providing commuters with 30-minute service on weekdays and hourly service on nights and weekends. This new route will connect passengers to popular destinations such as Verona Park & Ride, Verona Area High School, and Epic Systems.
To learn more about the new D2 Route to Verona, individuals can visit MyMetroBus.com/Verona for additional information.
In addition to the new route, there will also be some adjustments made to existing routes. These include a map update for Route B around the Central Wisconsin Center, minor schedule updates for Route C, an extension of Route D2 to Verona with adjustments to Route D1, timepoint updates for Route E, schedule updates for Routes F and R at Capitol Square, a downtown update near Market St. for Route S, and schedule and map updates for Routes 28 and 38 due to construction on University Row.
