~ As the University of Wisconsin-Madison prepares for its annual Homecoming celebration, multiple street segments around Langdon Street will be temporarily closed on Friday, October 10th. The parade, which is scheduled to start at 6:00pm, will bring together students, alumni, and community members to celebrate school spirit and tradition.
According to the Wisconsin Union website, the following streets will be closed at various times throughout the day: Langdon Street from N Park Street to N Lake Street (8:00am to midnight), Langdon Street from N Lake Street to Wisconsin Avenue (4:00pm to 8:00pm), Wisconsin Avenue from Langdon Street to W Gilman Street (4:00pm to 8:00pm). However, a driving lane will remain open for access to the Edgewater Hotel.

In addition, W Gilman Street from State Street to Wisconsin Avenue will be closed from 5:00pm to 7:30pm and northbound N Lake Street from University Avenue to Langdon Street will be closed from 6:00pm to 7:30pm.
