~ On Saturday, August 9th, the annual Madison Mini Marathon event will take place, causing multiple street closures and detours. The event, which includes a half marathon and a 5k race, will begin at 7:00am and end at 12:00pm (noon).
According to event organizers, N Park St between Langdon St and University Ave will be fully closed to traffic for the start and finish line. However, all other roads will remain open to traffic. Local access will be maintained along the route and traffic control will be removed once the last runner passes through each location.
